I 18(ftm) have been dating my gf(19) for about 8 months now and Ive honestly havent been happy for a couple of months now. I used to do everything, plan dates, write love notes, make playlists for her but I never got anything back so I stopped. Last night she came in and showed me a video her sister posted which was essentially making fun of me being trans and other members of her family were laughing at it. Today while I was working I told her we needed to talk and I said I didn't appreciate how she didnt even say anything to her sister about making fun of me and that I wouldnt be talking to her family anymore. She responded with I understand thats your choice, is there anything else. I then asked her if she was happy in our relationship and she just responded with, are you? I said no and that I always ended up feeling bad after doing things for her and that I havent been happy in a while. She then responded with I know you havent been happy for months now but thats besides the point, she then went on saying how it was just as much as my fault as hers for not putting in any effort and I wont talk to her about things when they happen. I always take time to think over what to say before I start talking about whats been bugging me but I dont think this is going to work out much longer I came home after work and she was sitting in the living room with all the lights off with her blanket on her phone, I don't even know what to do really
