So, I (24 M) have a bit of a crush on a coworker of mine (19 F). We've hung out together outside of work maybe once; not like anything romantic or a date, but I've been thinking about asking her out. I'm just not sure if I should though, mostly because A.) I don't think she'd be interested, and B.) If that's the case l don't want to ruin things at work and between us because she really is cool. Also the fact of the age gap does play into my apprehension as well.

I've brought up the issues with a few people I know, and they all said the same answer of "you won't know anything until you try." But I'm just trying to get other opinions about it...
