Planning a date for the first time in 10 years. Hopelessly lost
Post Body

Hello,

I've been chatting to a girl on Hinge for the last week or so. She's super easy to talk to, we have very similar outlooks (neither want kids, both seem to want similar things from dating, both have shared interests) and she is super cute.

Only problem is, I haven't been on a proper date in over 10 years. I'm early 30s now and I was married. Divorced for about 5 years now (which she knows about) but I haven't really been on a first date... well ever. My ex wife was a work colleague I knew for years before dating, my only real relationship since the divorce was a tinder fling that turned into a relationship.

What do I wear? What do I say? What happens if there's awkward silences? Is that bad? Do I hold her hand at all? Is that too soon? If things go well do I try and kiss her? Do I wait for her to initiate anything like that?

Low key having a crisis that I will ruin this good thing I've chanced across by being an awkward moron 😅
