I'm 20, studying independently after an apprenticeship, with no car, little money, and still aiming to get into uni. I've been avoiding relationships because I feel unworthy due to my financial situation. I made a post about this, and people had mixed opinions—some said money doesn’t define your worth in a relationship, while others said you need a job before dating because women value money like men value looks.
I find it confusing because while some say money isn’t that important, financial issues seem to cause many breakups and divorces. So, is it right for me to hold off on dating until I have money coming in, or is this perspective flawed?
