I personally don’t understand why this keeps happening, but for the last five or six months every time that I plan a date with someone it comes to the day we’re supposed to meet up and either my messages never get opened or better yet they get read and the person never responds. But sometimes they find the need to text me the day after and tell me that they’re sorry or they had other plans, something came up, the works. I’ve been through this many times and I feel like it’s just them saying in a polite way that they don’t wanna see me. But I feel like I am waisting so much time clearing up my schedule and everything to ultimately have to cancel my plans and just sit at home alone because I got stood up. For reference I am a 22 year old male and I feel like I am a nice person. I genuinely want a relationship where both sides care for each-other and are good for each-other. I’m polite, I can flirt but I keep it respectful. I’m not overly clingy, and I honestly don’t think I’m that bad looking of a guy. I just wish that more people would be honest. I would much rather someone say “hey I just don’t like you” than leave me hanging all day when we’re supposed to meet. Oh and it’s really nice when the entire time I’m being ignored they all post on social media and stuff. Really drives my point home.
