I think I’ve been catfished but he’s already paid for our date - what to do?
Post Body

So I met a guy on Bumble. Got chatting and have arranged a bowling date for next Monday which he kindly paid for.

Then he gave me his number and when I added him on WA I can see what I think is a more recent pic which he looks a bit different in. His hairline is much further back on his DP and he doesn’t look as attractive. (Nothing against receeding hairlines btw and I love baldies 👨🏾‍🦲)

I chose the bowling spot and purposely chose an inexpensive spot but: I feel like I wanna bring up the fact he looks a bit different bc I’m not excited about dating the person I see on WA. Whenever I bring up a glaringly obvious thing that is a bit off with men I’m ‘dating’ online the date doesn’t go ahead or they unmatch me.

I could do a video chat and see what he looks likw but I think that might make me wanna not go more bc I’m not getting much from our current conversations. Really tryna push through and go bc I rarely get to the date part.

Advice pls.
