Is it weird to possibly get into a relationship with a 18yr old as an almost 20yr old? (Please read first)
Post Body

So I just downloaded the typical dating apps over the summer while I’m home (tinder, hinge, bumble) just for the hell of it to see what would happen and on one of them I matched with a girl. We’ve been talking for about a week already and thinking about going on a date and maybe becoming serious if all goes well. Now here’s where I need advice:

She’s 18 but going into her freshman year of college and I’m about to turn 20 in less than a month and going to be a junior in college. And we’ve been hitting it off pretty well and wouldn’t mind having a relationship but in the back of my mind it the question of “is it weird for a junior to date a freshman?” dawned on me (We’re going to different schools btw).

So just in general, would it be weird to have a relationship with someone in this situation? I know it may not seem like a huge age gap but it’s something I’ve been thinking about (and maybe over thinking).
