I (29 m) am thinking of ending things with the woman (26 f) I’ve been on a couple dates (3) with over the past month. Some background: I’ve tried to invite her to things but she’s turned me down for reasons that could be legitimate but feel fake. Ex: she wants to get up early to see the sunrise so can’t go out that night or is going out with her cousin to a theme park, only for her cousin to have cancelled. After our dates, there hasn’t been any contact other than a quick goodnight peck, and on our last date I asked if she wanted to come up for a drink afterwards, which she said no, which is again fine if she’s not there yet. I just want it to be a question of when, not if for more. I’d be fine with making out, I’m not demanding sex, just more than the same kiss I’d get in a high school play. Other factors is on our first date she told me about a past “date” with a guy she was hooking up with so she doesn’t seem to be a “sex-only-in-a-relationship” girl and asked me how many women I was chatting with before admitting to speaking to two other Guys. Plus the fact, that it takes her awhile to text back (which may be due to work but not to the extent of too busy to respond within the same day) & I always text her 1st. I’m starting to feel like I’m a backup option for if she doesn’t have other plans or if you’ve been around dating threads the “good to settle down but not for fun” guy that she’s not that into. I’m thinking of asking if she wants to grab dinner and come to my place for a quiet night with a movie to see if things progress or should I just end it?
