Is it bad to think i NEVER have a chance?
Post Body

I (M20) am very shy and im wanting to get away from this. So I always have some instant thoughts when i notice a girl I like. When i do I assume she is lesbian, taken or not interested in someone like me. I have no proof of this but i do it every time so i never end up approaching, or asking one of them out. If they approach me ill only do the bare minimum to not be rude till they are done talking and walk away. How do people get over this? Every girl ive ever met and been interested in enough to ask out this has been the cause so its not like its unfounded. Idk what to do to not think this way. I dont even get upset by it really, its more of an "oh well..." type of feeling.
