To give some idea: Iām usually reserved and silent, avoids talking if possible (Usually out of paranoia that if I talk I might irritate someone), and somewhat bad at socializing. And from what Iāve heard, women just doesnāt want to date a man that is all those traits, under the assumption that they want an outspoken man with infinite social energy, and always be able to have the man entertain her without her explicit request. And yet if we wanted to make a move we have to effectively break our standard routine to pretend to be socially active, despite it taking a massive effort to do so.
Because of this, Iām starting to believe that maybe there isnāt such a thing as āThere wonāt be anyone who would want you for who you areā, because it seemed like being who you arenāt is a much more effective method of finding a partner.
(For a regional focus point: Iām from south east Asia, if anyone wants to know where Iām coming from)
