We planned to go on a third date last week but she canceled last minute and confessed to seeing another guy for over a year and wanted to stop seeing each other to try and deepen the connection with him.

I see her on an almost daily basis so I had a long talk with her to clear things up. She told me she has feelings for me and wasn't trying to play games with me. She also told me that she told the other guy about me and what was happening and he is super angry at her and doesn't want to be committed to her anymore. I personally am not mad at her and sympathize with her decisions because of her past experiences and trauma.

Should I try to put the time and effort in to see if I can get her back? I still really like her even after what happened and knowing she has or had feelings too makes it more enticing to try.
