Yes, lets state the obvious. It was a large age-gap. She liked the situation and if anything was more okay with the age-gap than I was, or equally. I even said one night after we left a restaurant in Laguna Beach that I thought it was interesting the looks we got from men & women wondering if she was my daughter, or fwb, to which she replied, "I dont really care or notice how people look at us."

Continuing on til the end of May and she was finishing up her last week of her college semester and was partying quite a bit with her good girlfriend. She would text me photos and whatnot while there were out partying and half the time I was home sleeping. A few days after she finished her semester, on a Wed morning I asked if she was up for Wine Wednesday, to which I didn't get a reply which was unusual. Until then she had been driving the 30 or-so minutes to my place about once a week, to have dinner and sexercise.

It was silence from her, so 4 days later on Sunday I texted her asking if she was okay. Another 5 days goes by, and she finally surfaces on Thursday and sends a text saying, "Hey, sorry for going ghost. I've been going through something lately, I just need some space."

That was it. I replied that I was glad she was okay and thanking her for letting me know and if I could do anything I'd be there for her. She then posted on IG with her family in her hometown 3 hours north a bit later. I'm thinking either something happened while they were out partying that last week, she got a DUI, a bf, or her parents found out she was fucking a guy twice her age and had a coming to Jesus talk with her.

I knew it wouldn't likely last THAT long, but I do miss the hikes/convos/sex.
