Hi guys. I have been real moody for the past few days and I just keep wondering why this keeps happening to me. I don't know if others are experiencing the same. I put out a couple of posts on one or two groups on reddit recently, about looking for something serious. A few people reached out to me and I have chatted with a handful of guys since then. So there was this guy, we moved our convo to snapchat and chatted every single day for almost a week and we were becoming closer and more familiar with each other, but then one day, out of the blue, he just stopped. Didn't chat and didn't respond to my chats. Both on reddit and on snapchat. I was hurt because he had also blocked me on snapchat- I have no idea why? I was upset by this, but after a few days of the ghosting, I shook it off and moved on. A few days ago, another guy reached out to me on reddit, saying he was responding to my post. We began to chat on snapchat and this was the sweetest guy. Very romantic and witty. I was smitten and at the beginning I told him my experience with ghosting and he said he didn't like ghosting either so we decided that we would never ghost each other. From snapchat, we moved to whatsapp because I told him I would like to be able to save his pics and voicenotes in our chats. Our chats were going so well... On the third morning, he sent me a morning greeting and a picture. That was his last message to me. I responded to his morning greeting and then a few times during the day i sent him messages asking how his day went and stuff like that, but he never responded. And I noticed he came online twice that day, but it seemed like he wasnt reading my messages. And he hasn't responded until now. I am so so hurt. I have thought about this from every angle and i am sure that i didn't say or do anything bad to cause the ghosting. Why am I being ghosted??? This is weird AF. The only suspicion i'm having now is maybe these guys are catfish because they didn't ghost me until I asked for/ insisted on a video call? But I don't understand how asking to chat on video would be a deal breaker and cause guys to ghost me if they are not catfish. Any thoughts on this? I'm getting fed up and thinking of stopping my search for a bf on reddit.
