I just got an older woman’s number.
Post Body

I (M27) went into TJ Maxx looking for some socks. As I was looking I saw this beautiful woman looking at dresses. If I had to guess I would have thought she was 30-35. I went up to her and told her that I though she was absolutely beautiful and that I wasn’t gonna leave the store without at least trying to get her number. She smiled and said thank you but then put her hands up and said “first of all how old are you because I’m probably too old for you”. I said that doesn’t matter to me and then she said “well it does to me because I’m looking for something long-term and you’re eventually gonna want to start a family and it just wouldn’t work.” She also added that she was 50 years old (which only made me want her more), I said that I thought she was 30. And just as I thought I was about to get rejected she adds “I mean we could hang out but…” and then I asked her if she was down to hang out and she said sure. I got her number and she said it was nice to meet me. I immediately texted her my name when I left the store. She responded about 20 minutes later saying “It was nice to meet. I like that you are direct. I’m leaving for KeyWest tomorrow but will be back next Wednesday. Let’s chat soon!” Any advice for me? Is she interested? Why did she say it wouldn’t work but then give me her number? Help please haha
