Im finally able to talk to girls my age some but there are months and years between being able to asking people out. If i like someone and they talk to me first its great but i cant approach people. It feels inapporpperate and wrong. I want to date but sitting arround and waiting is so disheartening. Idk how to apporach others and ask out people i dont know well without it being creepy. It feels so shallow to ask someone out if i have not know them for months at least.

I expect to be rejected 100% since finding people willing to go out are rare but it makes me sad that idk how to even try at least. When i get rejected im sad because it will probablly be years until i get another chance.
