My friend introduced me to this nonbinary person he knows and we are getting along well so far. They are really friendly and talkitive (this is good since im kind of quiet lol). If we do start going out what should i know? Sorry if this is a dumb question but im from a rural area and very shy so this is new to me a little be. Obviously i figure i should call them they or them but if we go out what are they to me exactly? Like i figure GF is not the right word, is it just siginificant other or something else? If i do mess up and say she by accident will that be really bad? Idk how ill explain them to my friends and family, they dont know much about gender. I really like this person and i dont want to mess this up i guess.
