Hi, me 30(M) got out of 9 year relationship so not much experience 1 year ago met smokeshow 4 months ago (31f) at friends wedding and we hit it off. She's smart funny pretty kind and I like her. Problem is 1) her last serious relationship messed her up 2) she's got this incredibly selfless and demanding job that takes most of her energy. On my part I am super bubbly and romantic by nature so I'm love bombing her like crazy; romantic dinner dates, playlists, little nick nacks from my travels in other countries. Not only is she really hard to schedule time with but 2 days in a row I've been feeling kind of down and asked her to call me and cheer me up and I can't even get that.

I asked her last time do you want me to keep bothering you and she was like please keep bothering me and I'd like to but I need my partner to desire me just a little bit. Like at least want to hear my voice.

Has this ever happened to someone and it's gotten better?
