I met this girl in August this year and she is amazing. Firstly to clarify we both identify as lesbians. We do theatre together. I direct and she stage manages so we have the two biggest positions behind these shows together. It has been amazing to work with her on something we both love and are passionate about. This also means we hang out nearly every single night working on this and we are doing RENT right now which we are both pouring our souls into. We have gotten into a routine of rehearsals 7-11 pm, then talking till 2 am-5 am one on-one about everything and then I walk her home to make sure she gets home safe every night. Our interactions have just gotten very cute one time I lost my phone and she called it for me so I could find it and joked this was all an elaborate ploy to get her number, we just lay on the ground and started at the stars and talked to each other. We go to the aquarium together and both have season passes. We've started copying each other's fashion and it's all just very sweet. I really like her and I feel safe and seen by her in a way that I don't feel around most people. I really like her and want a relationship with her. About a month ago I told her I liked her and she said she wasn't ready for a relationship right now. Idk I feel like we are already with each other more than people I know in relationships and I just want to have everything we have right now but to label it and to hug her and hold her hand. Idk and since this, she has initiated spending more time and our conversations have gotten deeper and our interactions have gotten even cuter. Idk, I guess what do I do? I love being friends, but I want more and it hurts to not have that. But it would hurt more to lose what I currently have. I have never felt this comfortable and cared for and seen by someone ever in my life (even when I was in a relationship) and that is a beautiful and rare thing I don't want to lose. What do I do here?
