Me (30) my boyfriend (33) we have been together for a month. I’m catholic and he’s Muslim. We knew this before we got together, I hesitated at first because I had a similar situation before and I told him I was. I have been catholic my whole life even went to catholic for pre k - 12th grade. I asked him if it’s a issue that I’m not Muslim and will his family have a issue. He said he doesn’t but he’s unsure about his family reaction because they never had a situation like this before. It’s still early but I really care for him and see a future but I fear that the fact that I’m not Muslim will be issue. He tells me don’t worry about that right now, let’s figure it out when it comes but I don’t want time to go by, I develop stronger feelings for him and we have to break up. I have nothing against the Muslim religion but I don’t want to convert for a guy. My worry is that no matter good I am to him, it won’t matter because I’m not Muslim. I honestly can’t handle a heart break
