Hello, I'm a 30 year old Male and I'm a very nervous, shy person with low self esteem, due to previous issues I've experienced in the past, but slowly improving myself and I'm looking for advice for a situation.

I work at a machinist shop and this girl started delivering product to our shop a few weeks to a month ago and she instantly caught my eye and unfortunately I've only been able to deal with her 3-4 times with little to no conversation and I'm worried ill just continue to freeze up when I talk to her. So I was thinking about just stepping out of my comfort zone and just asking is she is single, and if she says yes do I offer to give her my number? Just curious if that's a decent approach?
