So I went on a first date a few days ago with someone and we both had a great time. Prior to this first date, there were 2 instances where he responded to my texts (which he initiated) 24-48 hours later. Right now, I’m going through that again with him where he asked me a question, I answered, and it’s been 24 hours with no response.

I know he doesn’t owe me anything in this stage and I don’t even like texting often, but I want to know specifically, what would YOU do in this situation, or how would you react and feel about this texting pattern?

Would you expect a reply within 24 hours, and is this a dealbreaker for you? Is it a strange red flag or just how dating in this early stage usually goes? Basically just wanting to hear how you guys would feel. Thanks :)
