do guys on dating apps lie that they're moving out of town to get a NSA one night stand?

Post Body

Sometimes I'll match with a guy, we have a little banter, and then he'll tell me something along the lines of "hey, I just want to be upfront, I'm moving to San Francisco in a week" and wants to meet up immediately. I tell him that I'm not interested in a transient and he stops answering. A few weeks later, out of curiosity, I check the location on his profile and what do you know he's still in my town lol.

Comments

Yep. Iโ€™ve had this happen. I appreciate it when they mention that they wonโ€™t be in town for long within the first few messages. I think this is something that belongs on a profile, however.
