This is venting and also a question but I am 19 (M) and I met this girl not too long ago who is 16 (F). We're friends and pretty cool and she wanted to talk to me but I told her i wouldn't even flirt with her until she was at least 18 but we still talk as friends and communicate. And I've always told her i felt uncomfortable bc she was young and didnt want to b THAT 19 year old talking to a 16 year ol bc i felt that was just wrong but lately i've been thinking would i still b wrong in waiting for her to become a certain age? we don't hang out in person for that reason bc i don't want either one of us to lose our self control. i try to encourage her to date people her age until she's of age. idk i'm just skeptical like i know i'm not doing anything wrong but i'm still on the fence abt it bc of all the stories and things i've heard about i don't even want to come close to being a groomer or taking advantage of her especially since i think she's one of the nicest most genuine person i've met (but maybe that's bc of her niavity/lack of maturity and age) so i really wanna know what it'd look like from an outsiders perspective
