I’ve never posted in here, or any advice subreddit before. I’m afraid of the trolling comments lol. However I’m at a loss and just have probably 3 main questions I’d need advice on! A little background on myself I’m an extremely nerdy 22 yr old White female, have been single for a little while after leaving a poly relationship I was not happy in and was bordering emotionally abusive (not on my end.) I have a history of childhood trauma and ptsd/bpd, which in toll also makes dating difficult as most men do not understand it. Have been navigating the whole bumble and Okc thing for a bit and just am not finding that spark and when I do I get lead on or ghosted. Also PLEASE stop telling me to focus on myself or get help, I have and I’m 100% fine and stable. However I can’t ignore that I have mental diagnosis or trauma that happened over 19 years ago.
1. Should I be upfront from the beginning about my mental illness diagnosis/trauma? I don’t want to feel like I’m oversharing but I also don’t want someone to get freaked out and nope out when I’m already invested.
2. Where is a good place to actually meet people who want relationships and not hookups? But again however I keep running into the whole let’s talk all day everyday/hangout a few times and then I’m ghosted or they tell me even after they confess feelings that they aren’t emotionally available or the whole “lets be fwb or have a ons” thing.
3. This is also extremely just preference and it isn’t to be offensive in the slightest as I’m open to dating anyone however I just have more of an mental/physical attraction to AMWF relationships. I was just wondering if anyone who was/is in that type of relationship or if you are a single White female or Asian male and have the same preferences would have advice on it or had any dating site/other mean of meeting people recommendations. Also in the rare chance someone is offended please educate me nicely and correct me so I won’t offend someone in the future.
