So I met this girl on Tinder. I haven’t used Tinder much lately but I just got back into using it and we matched.
I messaged her first, making light of we both think we’re really awkward. We’ve been talking on Tinder for one week now and we seem to be connecting really well. Never really struggling to find something to talk about. We have fairly similar interests.
So I decided to ask her if she’d like to move over to texting, and she happily agreed. I then asked her if she’d want to meet up sometime and do something together. She also said that she would really like that.
Here’s my issue
I’m worried that’s it’s not even worth it. Maybe I have too low of a view on myself.
I worry that I’m going to seem like a complete loser to her. We’re both 22 years old. She’s a vet tech at an animal hospital and works another job as well. I’m getting an associates in computer networking along with a CISCO certificate right now from a local community college. I’m not going full time currently, only 3/4ths time due to anxiety and depression issues. I’m slowly pushing myself into full time and plan on hopefully doing it next Fall semester. Because I am slowly easing into it and I started in the Winter semester last year, I most likely have 5 semesters left after this one.
I don’t have a job currently, but with living with my parents I have enough money to get by for now and do stuff with her.
Am I worrying for nothing? Should it be something I need to be concerned with?
I’m not even sure when we’re going to be able to go on our first date with my classes (2 are night classes) and her work schedule being so full with two jobs. I’m also usually busy on the weekend so it won’t be for probably at least a week yet. I also have no clue what we’re gonna do but that’s a small issue.
All replies are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
