This sub probably gets a lot of these but dating apps haven't worked for me like ever and I feel like you get better connections irl anyway. I'm 21 and male and I'm currently going to a kinda small art school in portland oregon and there are a lot of women that I find attractive and that seem cool. I have two major problems tho. One I simply don't know what to say or how to go about talking to new people irl if like a conversation naturally starts between me and a stranger I'm usually pretty solid in holding the conversation and if I'm being honest I'm a yapper so sometimes I end up talking too much. My second issue is that from what I've heard, seen, and experienced the majority of my school is lgbtq so it's a high chance from what I've noticed that these people won't be attracted to me gender wise to begin with. (I'm probably overthinking on the second point but it does make things scarier) I also did ask someone out last semester but it was like rushed and awkward I don't talk to this person anymore really but we are still chill no awkwardness it seems which is good.

Tldr I need advice on how to talk to women. Especially when I have romantic intentions I don't have the time unfortunately for a bunch of new friends I only have the time to spare for a romantic interest. I know that probably sounds weird but it's the situation I find my self in.
