A little backstory: I’m 32 years old (F) and no one has ever been interested in dating me. I think I’ve known I’ll never be with someone for a long time now but I’ve plugged away at dating apps and it’s well and truly worn me down. I’m now at a stage where I just want to get rid of that pesky tiny bit of hope that someday I’ll find someone who wants to be with me. I’ve made a firm decision to not download a dating app again and to close myself off from all dating opportunities (not that I have any to turn down 😭) and to focus on embracing my singlehood. I feel saddened by it but ultimately think it’s the right thing to do and I’m hoping over time it’ll become a little easier to accept it.
I guess I’m just curious if anyone’s been in a similar position and how do you feel about it now?
