So recently I have decided to put myself out there again after a year of working on myself mentally and emotionally. Where I live there's no night life. Nothing to do for a person in their 30s outside of driving an hour away. I thought "let's give some apps a shot" 6 profiles later and 4 matches later: getting ghosted after 2 lines of small talk.
Is it just me or is the dating world for people in their 30s just completely garbage? Anybody else experiencing this? If so, how are you handling it? Because personally, it's just beginning to feel like I'm setting myself up for disappointment.
