General advice on dating/ meeting someone
Post Body

New ish to Reddit. Guess this was not my first resort nor something I thought I’d be doing but I’m at a loss of solutions. I’m 29, well established in a good career. Very active, fit, not a partier, love the outdoors, cooking, quality time. I come from a big Italian family and that’s really influenced who I am. I have no desire to “be wild” or fuck around. I’ve been at a point in my life for years now where I just want a person to share and go through life with. I want a family down the road with said companion.

I initially swore I’d never use dating apps, which didn’t last. This almost led to even more of a let down when I didn’t even meet someone I was genuinely interested in using an app, or more than one. So now I’m back to ground zero. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, I know I move around for work but ultimately it just seems impossible to find someone I connect with. I’m a very caring / loving person and being single for 5 years gets pretty old and a little isolating. Any advice whatsoever is appreciated. Feel free to reach out and talk.
