Is it a bad idea to try dating without a good support group of friends
Post Body

I'm 20M in Uni. I have been intimate with people before but i've never had a long term relationship. I have only 2 close friends. I have a good relationship with my roommate but I have been self isolating a lot throughout my life. I have some trouble with depression and can get irritated towards people i'm close too when they don't deserve it. I'm a good communicator though and I have managed to keep on good terms with my friends.

Without a community of people to fall back on if dating fails, is it a good idea to even try? Not to say i'll be alone cuz I still have my friends, but I can't expect them to support me all the time, they have lives too.

It's also difficult because being isolated and not having alot of friends is a red flag to many and I think it might make it alot harder. Thanks :)
