She liked my past stories but didn't like any new ones with the new cut. I'm unsure how big of a deal this is, especially since she isn't active on Instagram. I have been friends with her for 3 years, and recently, this summer, I have been talking to her and trying to show her that I'm interested in her. I don't want to surprise her when I confess, but at the same time, I think she values directness and doesn't like how indirect I am. I think it's annoying her.

I debated whether to confess over the phone or in person. I tried setting up lunch with her, but she couldn't meet because she was busy with family (I have met one-on-one with her before). I was thinking about doing it over the phone cause it's quick and easy, and I can just get it over with.

I know most girls like confident guys, but I am not very confident in myself, especially after I got my cut; I am so insecure about the way I look I started working out in the gym, dieting, and starting a skincare routine. Unfortunately, it will take about a year to notice any change.

So, should I confess after I grow out my hair or just shoot my shot? How should I confess she has a tomboy-like vibe? I was thinking about telling her over lunch or asking her if she wanted to go on a hike or if I could walk her dog with her.
