Hello everyone. This is my first post on Reddit. Want to know if I am the idiot she says I am. I (21m) want to break up with my gf (21f). I just got out of college and I am trying to start saving money so that I can afford a place to stay. I current have about $40 to my name. I tried to break up with my girlfriend because of the fact that I am often low on funds. My gf is not the reason for this too although I do like to take her out on my treat. She says I am dumb and that I won’t be this way forever. I am trying to build a photography business and I just got a job as a restaurant photographer. My plan was to go back to her once I have more money on a daily basis. Am I stupid for this? Am I overthinking? Or is this a valid reason for breaking up with her?
