Am I wrong for wanting more than a 'coffee and a walk'?

Post Body

I joined Bumble a week ago and have yet to go on a proper first date. I'd been chatting with a guy for a few days who seemed nice enough. He recently had an operation on his knee but insisted we meet for coffee and a short walk around his local park rather than going to an actual coffee shop.

We were supposed to meet today at 11 a.m. at the park, but it's raining, and I knew it would be last night. So, I messaged him and said something along the lines of, "Actually, I'm not a coffee and walk kind of girl. I want someone who'll put some effort into meeting me and consider what we do." I should clarify, this isn't about expensive or fancy dates, we could go do something that's free. Ultimately I want to understand what they enjoy, but that also takes in to consideration what he's learnt about me since talking.

Shocker—I still haven't heard back, so I've unmatched and left it at that (as no answer is an answer after all). I'm not asking for much, am I? What's the obsession with going for coffee? It's not a job interview... is it?
