I just wrote this poem (I doubt it’s any good but) and I wanted to share to just get out my feelings. Maybe find some else who has gone through a similar thing. Anyways here it is,

Not The One

Today I realized I love someone, It’s you But it doesn’t matter because I’m not the one

It kills me to think someday you’ll be gone Holding someone else in your arms The love I have for you lost on this piece of paper

I wish I could be the one you need Give you little babies that we will feed I think I will want kids someday But still how many and when I doubt we’ll agree So I’ll say I’m probably not the one

Your face and smile will forever be etched in my memory Wishing I could touch it and hold it right next to me

I’m not the one

But I so wish I could be
