I (29f) have had multiple first (and even second) dates with guys who end up telling me something along the lines of “you’re really nice, you have a great personality, you’re beautiful, I just don’t feel a romantic connection.” I always feel like I’m having a great time with these guys, but it always ends the same way: friendzoned. And I’m not a people pleaser or a pushover; I’ve done the work in therapy, and I’m willing & able to speak up for myself and have my own opinions. So what am I doing wrong? Why is it so hard to find someone?
