Any tips for dating IRL?

I am over dating apps and just want to find my SO out in the world. Are there any tips or tricks to meeting people in person that you've used? I also like dating outside of my race (I am black) and that also adds another layer to the cake but still, I would love to hear ways to meet men IRL and maybe go on dates with some of these guys.
