Do people even seek meaningful relationships anymore?

Post Body

Feeling a bit frustrated here. I've been on the search for a genuine, long-term relationship in NYC, but it seems like everywhere I turn, I encounter people just looking for something casual.

I go into relationships with the hope of building something meaningful, but lately, it feels like I'm just being used for sex. Its really shitty.

I'm curious, does anyone else find it challenging to find someone who's genuinely interested in a long-term connection? And if so, any tips for navigating the dating scene in NYC with this in mind?
