I (19m) am a freshman in college and never had a girlfriend, talking stage or been on a date. I don’t have any of the experiences as other people my age are doing or already have done. This fact has really started to bother me recently as I feel more and more alone. I’m worried the longer I don’t do these things the more I will regret it in the future and how people around me will view me.

I know that most of this is in my head and a result of overthinking, but I still can’t get past it. I’ve thought about just going up to girls but always decide not to because I can’t figure out what to say. It’s not the fear of rejection that worries me just that I feel uncomfortable talking to random people often making the whole interaction feel like torture.

I don’t have any idea how to go about approaching girls like good places to do it and what to say. If u have any advice or suggestions I would love to hear it thx.
