Men and women I need y’all to be totally honest here. For context I have been 20 for a little over a month now. I was in Spanish class and this girl who was 21 asked me this question while we were selected by the professor to be in the same group for class work. I was still 19 at the time.

Ong she asked me the question kinda loud too, so I bet everyone heard fr 😭

If a girl asks a guy “do you have a girlfriend” does that mean she likes the idea of being the guys girlfriend or does it at least mean the girl is attracted to the guy?! I don’t wanna just blissfully believe that she wanted me or thought I was handsome but like why would she randomly ask me that? We were not friends really.

Can I get an honest answer why she would ask that? Would a girl really ask that to a guy if she wasn’t attracted to him / didn’t wanted to potentially date him? The semester is over so it does not matter. But I want answers because I keep thinking about this

She also asked what my major was a couple classes before and when I told her my major she said “oh cool my boyfriend (name) is in that major do you know him?”

Obv I had no idea who that dude was 💀😭

So she admitted she had a boyfriend without me asking and later on she asks me if I have a girlfriend.

So since the semester ended I don’t see her much, I saw her on Thursday though when walking to my car and we talked briefly and I even dabbed her up despite not being friends really. She seemed excited to see me as she was saying “it was nice seeing you” but the convo was indeed short, (3 mins or less idk) I prolly should have just asked her for her number / shot my shot right there cause she seems nice and cute enough to at least go on a date with but I didn’t.

Also she got that boyfriend still maybe so I didn’t know what to do

So what do you guys think? You think she found me attractive or wanted to date me potentially or she just asking if I have a girlfriend just to ask? No other girls ever asked me “do you have a girlfriend” and my answer to her was “not right now no” to sound cool but really I haven’t had a girlfriend yet at 20 years old so I’m wondering if I missed my chance to start dating or not thoughts?
