We've updated the automod settings to hopefully better combat the hookup post and troll issues.

To make a submission you must now have a verified email address, have a decent amount of karma, and have an account that isn't literally brand new. The old way - mods manually approving every single throwaway account post - was not working because the sub is huge and the mod team is small.

We've also increased the karma requirement for comments, so don't be an asshole and tank your karma or you won't be able to participate here.

Announcing these changes is typically not done because it gives trolls and spammers info about how to bypass filters, but it's a change to something we've been doing for years so I felt you all needed a notice.

As always, please report the hell out of anything that breaks the rules, it really helps us out.
