I'm autistic with adhd and social anxiety. I recently started engaging with dating apps but I find talking to people and keeping their interest frustratingly difficult. I never know how to begin a conversation or end one. I never know how to respond to "Wyd" or "Whats Up". The most daunting thing is when a person just sends "Hi" to me as a first message because I can say hi back but then how do I progress the conversation after saying hi? I'm also very bad at small talk and fear this might be playing a part in why I'm so bad at communicating in the dating app world. Any advice or comfort offered would be great, I want to find romantic relationships, but honestly the initial stage of the dating scene is terrifying and daunting to me.
