Post Body

I’m m and I’ll be 24 in a few days, the woman this is about will be 31 in a month.

I met her earlier this year at a meetup for a hobby we both share. I’m very good at it, and she was a beginner. I asked for her number and offered to teach her lessons. I was immediately very attracted to her, and even after me telling her this she continued to invite me to hang out with her one on one and with her friends. Nothing physical ever happened between us even though I wanted it to.

One night she rejected me in a very brutal way. She invited me to the same place we had met and showed up with another guy, they were touching each other and left in the same car. It hurt a lot after I’d been pursuing her for a couple months at that point.

After that I told her I didn’t want to hang out anymore with her and that I hope she continues with our shared hobby but I didn’t want to be her teacher anymore.

Fast forward to a week ago and she was at a meetup for our shared hobby. She was there with her gay best friend. I was there to hang out with my other friends that were there and I didn’t expect to see her. It was weird seeing her again and she sat next to me and started bringing up stories from when we met. I talked to her not trying to be rude but my feelings came back and I was visibly uncomfortable. After she left she texted me saying she wants to be friends again. I’ve hesitantly said yes but not sure if I made a mistake.
