I've been out of the dating game (single) for several years now, but I think it's time I tried again.

I'm in my late 30s, basically the dad-bodded love-child of Chewbacca and white Jesus. How do I make a good dating profile? What platforms are good for someone like me who's looking for a long-term, exclusive relationship? What are things I should avoid in my profile?

It always looks like people are having professionals take their photos for profiles, do I need to hire someone? (Okay, that's sarcasm, but seriously... recommendations for taking good photos for dating profile?)
