Thankfully, we hadn’t met (in person) yet. Met online, discussed what we were looking for, had a 3 hour phone conversation, arranged a date, continued texting, then he ghosted the next morning. So of course, I went digging. (My friends have nicknamed me “the FBI” and I lived up to it.)

The level of lying was almost pathological. He lied about everything with such ease. The divorce, how he was struggling with it, how his kids had handled it. I’m divorced too, and my ex-husband cheated on me. Being party to infidelity makes me sick. I shared that with him and he still continued to talk to me. Even after we hung up, he kept texting for the rest of the night.

I would like to tell her. I have proof, screenshots, everything. The conversations and texting were overtly flirtatious. Should I? If I were in her position, I would want to know. Or do I confront him with it?
