I started seeing this new guy I met off hinge. Things were going really good, we saw each other 3x in one week after our first date. One of the times we didn’t even have sex we just met up for a walk and coffee.
We weren’t talking everyday which was fine with me because he was making me feel so secure on his intentions. But then I went away for the weekend on a camping trip where I had 0 service the whole time. I txted him when I was back and he didn’t reply until the next day and then took forever to respond.
Part of me was curious to see if he had updated his hinge profile and he had while i was away. So that hurt a little too since that means he’s actively still looking to date other people, which like totally normal we had just met. But now I’m like what happened? Why did his behavior change just over a weekend that I was gone?
I ended up just liking the last message he sent me since there wasn’t much I could respond to, I was originally going to ask him if he wanted to hangout sometime this week but I figure his behavior is acting as if he’s losing interest so then I should take a step back. Am i overreacting? It’s been so long since I was actually interested in someone so it’s annoying me that this is happening after having such great 3 dates. Can someone explain what might have triggered this?
