I (19M) am afraid of commitment after ending my 4 year relationship

I (19M) joined the Marine Corps and she (19F) didn't support me. So I ended my 4 year relationship (there were other factors as well but this is the TLDR). It's been 6 months and I moved on for the most part. However, I am honestly afraid of committing to a new relationship just for it to fail. Especially now that I am in the military I just think to myself " what's the point?" If I get into a relationship then end up getting deployed then I am fucked. Any advice?
