I went to my friend's civil wedding ceremony and after we went to a club to celebrate. with the groom's friends. I am 29F and he is 31m I met a guy who is friends with the groom. He used to work as a bouncer. He tried to dance with me whole night and I basically tried to avoid him. Until, I finally agreed just to like dance for a bit. Turns out he was sweet. I don't drink and he wasn't trying to get me to drink. He said he respected and had heard great things about me and said I was a "true lady." We exchanged numbers and he added me on social media. After he posted the picture of us on social media and captioned it "With lady (my first initial)" I was smiling so much. My friend ditched me and she just said, "ride with him back. He is a trustworthy guy."
So I had to take a taxi back to her place and I started to freak out and had a panic attack ( not my proudest moment). I don't ride cars with men alone and he said, "hey calm down, I'll get in the car with you and drop you off at her place if you don't feel comfortable riding in my car. And I'll fuck up the taxi driver with my belt if he does something." I viewed him like a hero in that moment. I laughed when he said the belt part but that made me relax lol. So he rode the taxi all the way to my friend's place then had the taxi driver drove him back to the club parking to get his car lol. I felt bad but thought he is such a gentleman. I was in awe of his actions to be honest. I've never met a gentleman like him.
I still can't believe I found annoying during the beginning of the day and now I feel like I like him. I texted him he next day and said, "I am so sorry about the little panic attack I had. Thanks for riding the taxi and making sure I got home safe" then he said "it's okay. it's because I know you're not used to the night lifestyle. You're different and that is good."
My friend's husband said he is kind person but has been with a lot of women and possibly does c... They said, you are too innocent for him and be careful. I did notice he touched his nose a lot. He asked me to dinner next day. I view him as hero now and have this immense respect for him and like him ... Any advice. Every time I think of that experience with him after the club, I smile and giggle to myself like a schoolgirl. He keeps calling me lady this and lady that and I love it.. I met this guy that seems to view me in a positive way the way I am only worry is the drug thing..
