For context I am a 19 year old male. Whenever I try presenting myself to others to get to know me, I’m always left with the impression that I’m a very boring/ basic person to talk too that doesn’t bring much to the table. Like what could I do that would make people want to know me better or doing things together in the future? (Even if it doesn’t amount to more than friends at least it’s a step in the right direction than nothing at all)

Most of my hobbies and passions are pretty basic. I like sports, trucks, some carpentry (not to big so no house building) as well as, hunting, fishing, hiking, garden work as I am from the country. I don’t go to the gym, or do anything that would be popular in a bigger town/ city as I hate big cities though. So nothing to outta the ordinary that make stand out from the rest. Anyone have any ideas what I could do that would make me stand out?

Side note I’ve also learned as being a busy owner of a store of sports memorabilia store, only working in basic retail & farming up to this point, having mental issues (not the psycho kind but more of the focus issues) & still living with my parents in today’s terrible housing economy are all considered red flags 🚩 that probably don’t help my case but that’s a whole different post
