I went on a single date with this girl so this isn’t a big deal, just wanted to vent. She was stuck in traffic and like 30 min late, we had a couple drinks and I paid. Then we texted a bit and I asked her on a second date to which she informed me that she had a vacation. I said we should do something when she gets back, and I got left on read. So I waited a week and asked how the vacation was, and no response, confirmed ghost. So then I texted and said “I accept that you’re rejecting me haha, but can you remind me the name of the Thai restaurant you recommended?” as I was hoping to at least get something out this encounter. Read receipt came through and no answer! She could have just spent 5 seconds to tell me the name, even after I acknowledged the rejection. I legit don’t care about her or seeing her, but I would have felt better to get something out of this. Ghosting just sucks.
