Some advice please

I’m (20 male) planning on asking this girl (18 female) in my class out on a date! Since it’s October I thought it would be perfect to go to a pumpkin patch and do the corn maze and pick two pumpkins to go carve out at this other spot with a view overlooking the city. But I’m not sure if that would be too much?!
Any recommendations on how I should ask her?
